Anyone know how to wire a 2-wire tilt motor to an 87 85hp force? The new unit has 2-wires and the one that failed had 3-wires. Also, the green and blue wires in the engine were not used and are laying loose. In addition to the blue/green wires, the old unit also had a black negative wire also attached that ran to the -. The connector still inside the boat (that I believe runs to the switch) has the red positive wire that attached to the +. So I'm wondering if I can simply buy a different 2-wire plug to use with what is left in the boat or do I need to bring the blue/green wires into the engine and hook into the ones laying loose under the hood?
