I Have an '88 BR with a 32 gallon tank. I'd like to increase my range. My question is has anyone installed a portable tank in this model or a similar model?
And if so, where is the best place for the tank? I was thinking about using the under deck ski storage to keep the weight of the fuel midships.
I am also wondering if there is some type of assembly available to switch from the main tank to the aux tank.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Portable tanks are not certified for under deck stowage. If you want to add fuel capacity you need to install a permanent type tank and plumb it correctly with under-deck rated hose. You will need a deck fill, and vent. The fuel line can go to a y-valve designed for gasoline use. The compartment the tank will be going into will need ventilation and a blower.

'88 tank might be time to replace, have one made to fit larger capacity.
