Please help me extend thank-yous to Kevin Sanders. He has been our motor yacht moderator for a few years now and has done a great job. Thank you Kevin!

Your new moderator is John Higgins. John is a pilot house owner and a knowledgable one at that. There isn't a project that he hasn't or won't challenge. He's not new to moderation, just new to moderating in MY. Please make him welcome in his new role.

Thanks Everyone!

I'm not going anywhere, just returning to regular membership. It's been a long wonderful journey here at the BOC.

I first came here in 2000 I think. Tal, I remember you were here then, Doug, and of course Mike (Strat), and Mike (somesailor), and a third Mike (pugetmike), and a whole bunch of others that I'll feel bad about not remembering their names later tonight :) . During that time we've had several administrators, and lots of changes.

I took thre helm from Kare (RIP), and Strat and I took care of the entire thing. During that time we introduced the www.baylinerownersclub.org web site, and things you see today like the BOC logo, which was a voted on thing with several competing potential logos. Strat and I choose the name for the web site. Baylinerownersclub.org sounded spiffy so we went with it. I'm trying to remember who did the initial design for the web site but I think it was Matt Train, but I honestly do not remember.

Then Strat took over full time when had a career change and couldn't devote the time anymore , and he made the huge change from the old EZ board to the first forum software. He stayed with it for the longest, serving several years and handing over the reins to Robert.

Robert served well and handed the helm responsibilities over to Doug, who transitioned responsibility to Mike our current leader.

Every one of those guys, and every one of the IT professionals, and the moderators along the way have shaped this place into what it is today.

Moderation has been easy by comparison with the others efforts. You guys are fantastic!

Kevin, thanks for your service.

I am afraid I cannot take credit for the formative years of BOC, only that my current role of moderator has been my sole contribution.

Kevin. Thanks for your assistance and support of BOC over the years. Being on the other side of the world, the assistance that I have gained from other members of the forum, has been nothing sort of fabulous.

Mike, knowing John as I do, I believe there would have been others more suitable ..... :)

Just kidding.

Season's greetings to you all.

Cheers

Yes...

When I took over as Admin when we were using VBulletin I contacted Frank for passwords, etc. He would not respond... We completed the VB updates without him and then Dave Crowder volunteered to work out a way off VBulltin. He was invaluable for over a year ensuring we were stable... Good man...
