Greve Marina , Hundige havn , Denmark

I pay the equivalent of about 500 USD fee per year for my dock space measuring 10 m x 2.8 m because I own it. If I was to rent the same space per year would cost about 1200 usd..

The yearly fee I pay includes 1 boat liftout and return to water of any boat under 20 tons, free water ,electricity and access to bathroom/toilets.
Any extra lift outs per year more than the 1 included in the fee, must be paid for separately.

Our marina is operated like a co-operative, you have the option of buying your dock space and owning your own small part of the whole thing or you can just rent the space yearly . The latter being more expensive.

We pay $2,600 for a 2450 Ciera for the summer season on Candlewood Lake in Ct. no electric, no water. Bathroom and shower avail on property. The slip fees on the upper Hudson River are a little more than half of what we pay on the lake. There are only a handfull of marinas on the lake so we dont have much choice and they all know it.

Reed Point Marina, Port Moody, Canada

54 foot uncovered slip, $8,00.00 per year plus about $250.00 every 3 months for electricity. Plus $150.00 per year for a second parking pass.

If you want the same size slip with a tin roof, just over $12,000.00 per year.

Well, you make me feel a bit better. I am in a covered marina in Portland. Water, metered power, heads with showers by the ramp. I pay $240 a month. I thought that was high for a slip for my 242, but it does have most of the amenities and the location is good.

Chesapeake Bay area, specifically Middle River (just East of Baltimore) . . . my marina (if I ever get there - still in NJ) charges $4600 for a 40' slip for the season . . . . then there are a few benefits - pool, showers, bathrooms, elec charges - you pay the owner so there's a slip meter, reduced fee for a "member" for winter haul-out and winterization . . . . seems a bit higher than most but the location is pretty darn good . . . . right now, Dad's Dream is up on blocks - bent port rudder shaft . . . some days you just don't win . .

Anacortes, WA a 60' single uncovered slip in a private secured marina $770/mo plus electric.

I am now on land in a private secured yard for $325/mo plus electricity. Launch out and back in and set back in my land slip is $115 round trip.

This a much more economical way to go and works well for us. We so not launch for a day trip. Every launch is for nothing less than a long weekend to 2 months.

Mine just went up! It is now $2,260 per year (works out to $188.33 per month) for a 40 ft slip. Includes non-metered 30 amp electric power service, water, holding tank pump out, and access to the coin-op laundry and shower facilities. There is a nice well lit stainless steel fish cleaning station at the top of the ramp along with a row of restrooms. A convenience store is on the premises, along with a fuel dock that sells gear, bait and ice by the 5 gal. bucket full. Or you can go over to the packing facility and get ice for $60 per ton. About $20 worth fills everything I have to fill. The office will receive mail and packages for you. The months I exceed the 10 nights included, I pay additional. Since I am usually there most of that month it is an additional $49. You must have insurance on your boat and liability and pollution clean up coverage, which is about $40 a month for my boat.

Greg

P.S. Rogue Brewery and Distillery kind of wrap around the south side of the marina. There is a bar and restaurant in the Rogue complex.
